These biscuits are made in tribute to my grandmother, Gladys. My "Mamaw" always had fresh biscuits in the kitchen which I loved to eat pretty much every day I went next door as a child growing up in West Tennessee. For years, I have dreamed of having another of her biscuits and this is as close as I've come so far to replicating the taste.
My biscuits are made with an organic flour mix as well as our oat/white flour based sourdough starter.
